Veronica Paintoux

Veronica was born in La Paz, Bolivia, to a Bolivian mother and French father. Her parents moved back to France shortly after her birth and she grew up in Tours. She returned to Bolivia in 1992 where her twin sister, Carmen, began working with Pachamama Films.

Veronica participated on the acting workshops organized by Jac Avila. She started modeling for professional photographers in 1996. Veronica moved to New York where she continued modeling and acted in performance videos with Jac Avila. She played the role of Gabrielle in the film Martyr.

She joined the team of Pachamama Films in 2008 for the starring roles in two feature films: Sirwiñakuy, under the direction of Amy Hesketh, and The Spectres of Blood Castle, directed by Jac Avila.

In 2011 Veronica returned to La Paz to work in Amy Hesketh’s second film, Barbazul, in a starring role. Currently she is preparing a role in Amy’s fourth film.
