While visiting New York with her boyfriend, a young woman named Camille meets Elisa, a compatriot and aspiring photographer who intruduces her to Tadeusz, a professional New York photographer.

Camille, defying the wishes of her boyfriend, decides to pose for a series of photographs that she inspires, based on the death of Saint Eulalia.

Julien, her boyfriend, prodded by Dave, his roommate, discovers her notes and diary and believes she’s involved in something that could cost her her life, he sets out to rescue her from her perilous adventure.

Is Camille going too far in attempting to know what it’s like to be a martyr?
